There's no sign-up, and, your link will stay active for a full week, and then automatically expire.

HP Fourth of July Activity Center

I don't get a thing in the world for this, I just thought it was cute, but the HP Activity Center loaded with free printable projects and one of them is for the 4th of July.

There's invitations, iron ons, printable flags, DVD labels and more.

Since I have photography on the brain as I keep breaking cameras and trying to learn how (still!) to use my Canon Digital Rebel XT, I especially liked the printable photo frames.

I'd better use them before I run out of cameras.

Kodak Picture Movie DVD

So many milestone celebrations feature photos and music. Everyone enjoys seeing a photo slide show set to music.

I take all kinds of pictures, and I've often thought, "I wish I had the time and knew how to do that", every time I see a recap of the year of one of my kids' sports teams or a retrospective at someone's birthday party.

I'm in luck, though because Kodak has introduced the Kodak Picture Movie DVD.

It's simple, at a Kodak Picture Movie DVD kiosk in select CVS Pharmacies, you simply insert the medium (CD, memory card, memory stick, USB flash drive that contains your photos and follow the instructions.

1. You can choose up to 60 photos and arrange them on the touch screen in any order
2. Choose title words or a brief opening description
3. Choose a song from one of the popular songs in their database from categories such as energetic, happy, inspirational, relaxing and romantic.
4, The DVD is created and your pictures are set to music with transitions

That's it!

The Kodak Picture Movie DVD is a quick and easy way to bring your pictures to life with music and share with others.

From July 27-August 2, 2008, when you order a DVD, you’ll get the same value back in “extra bucks” that can be used towards anything at CVS/pharmacy.

DVDs are $14.99 each after the promotion is over.

Get yours for a birthday party, Sweet 16, wedding or any other occasion for photos and music.

Roxio Creator 2009

Roxio Creator 2009 Roxio Creator 2009 is a suite of applications for manipulating most any type of data you can put on a CD or a DVD and even Blu-ray. You can burn, edit or back up audio, data, video and more to create projects to enjoy and preserve your memories.

It's amazing how many cool things you can do with it. It's easy to use and there are online tutorials to help you through. I've enjoyed it even though I lost much of my digital data when my computer crashed a while back. I'll have a great way to organize the digital media I collect in the future, though!

I'm still learning about it and I've enjoyed the photo editing tools and am working on some DVDs for Christmas gifts. My next project is to do something about all the home video we have from over the years.

Manage your wifi picture frame with FrameChannel

Are you in the market for a wireless digital photo frame?

If you are, make sure it supports FrameChannel. FrameChannel from FrameMedia is a fabulous way to manage your pictures and choose personalized content from hundreds of different channels like People.com for free.

Since I've had my wifi digital photo frame, I've had a chance to play with FrameChannel and I really like it. Configuring it with FrameChannel was easy, I was able to do it right out of the box.

Most of my photos are on Flickr and sending them to the frame via FrameChannel has been a snap.

It's as easy as selecting Flickr (other popular photo sharing sites and Facebook are supported as well and you can display photos from more than one site) within FrameChannel and then you can select the Flickr tags you want to include to be displayed. I made a separate tag in Flickr ("frame", oddly enough) and went back and added this tag to the pictures I want to display, and voila, the pictures appeared on the frame.

You can also use FrameChannel to e-mail your photos or you can upload photos directly to the frame from your computer. There's even a way for friends you select to e-mail photos to the frame (you can approve them, first. No worries...)

FrameChannel is a great way to manage an Internet digital picture frame remotely such as one for grandparents who live far away, or you could even use it to add pictures from a vacation or other event in real time.

Another fabulous thing about FrameChannel is the hundred of channels of personalized digital content you can receive on the frame, in addition to your photos.

For example, you can choose from such feeds as news and sports headlines, stock quotes, comics, jokes, art and more. I have enjoyed having a calendar, traffic and weather reports on mine as well as entertainment headlines from People (guilty pleasure, what can I say?). It's easy to choose a channel and you can turn them off and on via your account as often as you please.

A wireless digital picture frame would make a fabulous Valentine's Day gift, why not get one where you can manage your pictures in one place and enjoy other fun content for free with FrameChannel?
