Look Good Feel Better is a community based, free service that offers female cancer patients beauty tips to look better and feel good about how they look during chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The program offers group workshops as well as one on one consultation and even free self-help materials There are programs for men and teens as well. You can find out more about Look Good Feel Better and learn about all the wonderful things they do.
The program is celebrating it's 20th Anniversary and they are sponsoring the Women of Hope is Beautiful contest where women who have benefited from the program can share their experiences.
Five women will be featured on the Look Good…Feel Better website, and will win a trip to the DreamBall at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York on September 24, 2009 as well as receive a professional makeover.
